Nunn Above Kustoms specializes in autobody and paint refinishing as well as custom design; a specialty is customizing bumpers, rooves and parts with metal flaked paint. Jack, owner and designer, has a B.A. in Studio Art from Linfield College (McMinnville, OR) and studied autobody and collision repair at Clover Park Technical College (Lakewood, WA). His first auto project was a 1969 VW Beetle which he Built into a Volksrod. He has worked on the restoration of vintage cars in Washington and California, including working with a noted restoration specialist on a wide variety of customizations and restorations of all vehicle types, vintage and new, from across the United States. He is inspired by early Chicano Car Culture and innovative car designers and custom builders; Big Daddy, Edd Roth, Gene Windfield, George Barris, Bertone Designs Giorgetto Giugiaro, Marcello Gandini and Harley J. Earl.
